Joseph Jaubert

Visionary and Community Ambassador, Joseph Jaubert is a military veteran with 30 years in the Information Technology and Cyberspace has built a career focus since 2012 in Maritime Cybersecurity (dynamic offshore assets with various IT and OT/ICS/SCADA/IIoT systems and configurations connecting to Sea Port facing facilities and interconnecting Sea Port domains throughout the Maritime Transportation System).  Passionate about what he was able to do within this space from governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), identity access management (IAM), Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR), Policy creation, management, and more. The aspiration is that the challenge is increasing through moving networks, full rotating crews, actual pirates, and a long list that "Flat Cyber" personnel wouldn't understand.

Beyond Tech he also a student of psychology, Human Factors Specialist/Applied Psychology to be more precise. Areas of study and research: Humanistic psychology-therapy, Antisocial Personality Disorders, cybercrime. Focusing on 2 doctorates (2026) - Critical Infrastructure and Cyberpsychology and will be attending Capital University for these.

His ambition to secure the critical infrastructure sectors has led to his creation of the Vicious Vineyards Discord server which focuses on illuminating all facets of the IT/OT/ICS/IoT/Space/SCADA for each critical infrastructure domain.

He is an avid guest speaker on Veterans Breaking into IT/Cybersecurity Mentorship monthly events and has made a partnership with his wife for the C-4ward Non-Profit organization, and alliance with Black Hills Information Security to which he created a Discord variant of Backdoors and Breaches. Additionally, he’s an active mentor leader on the Evolutionary Skills Development Network.
