Peter Cline

Veteran Advocate and Community Leader, Peter Cline was honorably discharged from the Army in December of 2020. Peter led an Infantry Team for most of his time in the Army however, served as an instructor among various other roles he held.

He received countless awards with the best being winning the Fort Benning Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year competition next to a Soldier from his team.

After being discharged, Peter founded Boots to Books, a nonprofit that helps Veterans get educated and employed. In six short months since becoming tax exempt, they have covered over $9500 in trainings and resources and helped over 220 Veterans directly. Peter started Boots to Books with a few hundred dollars and an uncanny ability to market and scale and has grown it exponentially.

Outside of his non-profit work Peter has worked in Politics, Financial Planning and Marketing. He took over several teams on a Congressional campaign in Silicon Valley and received praise for shaping campaign messaging as well as canvassing so effectively; leading the candidate to directly message him with pressing issues. Peter accepted another role recently with a small Financial Planning and Wealth Management practice, developing his finance acumen and handling all aspects of marketing while installing various new funnels to drive traffic and conversions.

Besides the various work he has done, Peter is ultimately a student, studying Political Science and Economics at Chapman University. He has maintained a stellar GPA while working these various careers, being the President of the Chapman Veterans Club and the Director of Membership for the Pre-Law Society. He takes passion in volunteering, having been a Peer Notetaker for two different courses and completed all the requirements for Chapman's Volunteer program in one semester. Peter turned 22 in May, but do not let that fool you, his young age and drive empower him to succeed wherever he is placed.
